4Life Spain Open House

Salt Lake City, Utah (March 22, 2011) On Saturday, 4Life Spain held an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony at the 4Life office for hundreds of distributors. The event represented a unique opportunity for visitors to tour 4Life’s call center for Spain, Portugal, and Germany, see the passcode-protected VIP room for 4Life International Diamonds and above, and mingle with 4Life General Manager of Spain and Portugal Rafael Fernández and his team.

Gold International Diamonds Carlos Rocha and Nidia Pinzón López were onsite. 4Life Vice President of Communications Calvin Jolley was also in attendance.

4Life opened Spain in November 2007. Since then, dedicated 4Life business builders have driven the market to more than double in size. Rafael Fernández: “It’s an honor to host many of the distributors who are making such a positive difference in their lives and the lives of those around them with 4Life’s message of science, success, and service.”

Fernández leveraged the event to raise money for Foundation 4Life®, which currently has a dollar-for-dollar matching program to raise money for distributors and employees of 4Life Japan. “Following the devastating earthquake and tsunami,” said Jolley, “The first thing we set out to do was account for every one of our distributors in the field. As of the time this piece went to press, nine 4Life distributors in affected areas were still missing.”

4Life’s matching program gives distributors an opportunity to make a difference in rebuilding lives of fellow networkers in Japan. During Spain’s ribbon cutting event, distributors donated more than 1,000 Euro.

1.2 million 4Life Fortify® Meals Donated

Salt Lake City, Utah (March 25, 2011) 4Life Research™ announced today that since 4Life Fortify® was launched at 4Life’s recent convention in September 2010, over 1.2 million meals (50,000) bags of the product have been donated. The company has already shipped over 25,000 bags to children in Honduras, Philippines, and Costa Rica. Over the next few weeks, the remaining 25,000 bags will be sent to the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Venezuela, and Pakistan.

Including the inaugural Honduras donation in July 2010, more than 1.4 million meals have been delivered to children and their families. Each bowl of 4Life Fortify provides a warm and nourishing meal of rice, lentils, and beans, a nutritional complex of vitamins and minerals, and 4Life Transfer Factor® support for a healthy body.

“I’m overwhelmed with the distributor response to this program and look forward to many similar donations in the future,” commented Foundation 4Life Director Tracie Kay. “Several distributors have individually purchased thousands of dollars worth of product. There are so many children around the world who can greatly benefit from 4Life Fortify. With each donation we receive from our generous distributors and employees, we will seek out those children who are in desperate need of our help.”
“More than a million meals since September alone!” said 4Life Co-founder Bianca Lisonbee. “It’s been so wonderful to watch, once again, the power of our distributor force in action. There is so much good that we can accomplish when we work together as one.”

Feed The Children, an international nonprofit relief organization, helps distribute 4Life Fortify meal packs to malnourished children around the world. 4Life has also partnered with Feed The Children to provide immediate on-the-ground relief in the countries where 4Life does business. This partnership allows the company to provide its distributors with local opportunities to serve in their communities as they develop relationships with the families who receive nutritional support from 4Life Fortify.

DSA Whistlestop Tour

Salt Lake City, Utah (April 5, 2011) 4Life Research executives recently attended the Direct Selling Association’s (DSA) Whistlestop Tour in Provo, Utah. The event attracted industry executives from around the state to discuss topics ranging from DSA lobbying efforts to effective distributor-support strategies.

The DSA was established more than 100 years ago, with only a handful of members present. Now, DSA membership exceeds 200 companies. Member organizations like 4Life pledge to, “protect, serve, and promote” the effectiveness of the company’s independent distributors. One way 4Life accomplishes this goal is through the promotion of the DSA Code of Ethics.

4Life President Steve Tew: “The importance of maintaining an ethical standard is central to our ongoing involvement with the DSA. As one of the largest companies in our industry, 4Life distributors play an important role in representing our image—not just 4Life's image, but the industry at large."

During the Whistlestop, DSA Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications Amy Robinson talked about the launch of the Image Enhancement Program, a campaign designed to raise general public awareness about the model of direct selling with tools like DirectSelling411.com, a DSA-sponsored website for and about direct sellers.

4Life is a proud member of a dozen Direct Selling Associations around the world and will be a Platinum Sponsor at the June 2011 DSA Annual Conference in Miami Beach, Florida.
